Information You Provide

When you create an account and use our Service, we collect the following information directly from you:

  • Payment information, which is processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor (we do not store your full credit card details on our servers)
  • Business and workspace information, such as your business name, niche, website URL, and competitor URLs that you provide during onboarding and configuration
  • Content you create or upload, including articles, keyword lists, calendar schedules, and custom generation settings
  • Communications with us, such as support requests, feedback, and correspondence

Information Collected Automatically

When you access or use our Service, we automatically collect certain technical information:

  • Usage data, including pages visited within the application, features used, and actions taken
  • Device information, such as your browser type, operating system, and IP address
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies, which help us maintain your session and improve the Service

Information Received from Google APIs

When you choose to connect your Google account to SEO Rocket, we access certain data from Google APIs to provide analytics features within our Service. Specifically:

  • Google Search Console data, including search queries, click counts, impressions, average position, and page performance metrics associated with your verified website properties
  • Google Analytics data, including sessions, users, pageviews, bounce rate, average session duration, traffic sources, device categories, and geographic distribution associated with your website

We only request access to the minimum Google API scopes necessary to provide these analytics features within the SEO Rocket dashboard.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service. Specifically, we use your information to:

  • Provide and deliver the Service, including generating SEO-optimized articles, conducting keyword research, managing your content calendar, and publishing content to your connected website platforms
  • Display analytics and performance data within your SEO Rocket dashboard, using data from Google Search Console and Google Analytics to help you track how your content performs in search results
  • Process transactions and send related information, including purchase confirmations and invoices
  • Send technical notices, updates, and support messages related to your account and use of the Service
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, security vulnerabilities, and fraudulent activity
  • Improve and optimize the Service, including analyzing how features are used to enhance the user experience

We do not use your information, including any data obtained from Google APIs, for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any purpose unrelated to providing or improving the Service.

Google API Services User Data

SEO Rocket's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What Google User Data We Access

When you connect your Google account, SEO Rocket accesses the following data exclusively to power the analytics features within your dashboard:

How We Use Google User Data

Google user data is used exclusively to provide and improve user-facing features within the SEO Rocket application. Specifically, we use Google Search Console and Google Analytics data to populate the analytics dashboard within your workspace so that you can monitor the real-world search performance and traffic impact of your published content.

Limited Use Disclosure

In accordance with Google's Limited Use requirements, SEO Rocket's use of Google user data is limited to providing or improving user-facing features that are prominent in the SEO Rocket application interface. We affirm the following:

  • We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising, personalized advertisements, retargeted advertisements, or interest-based advertisements.
  • We do not sell, lease, or otherwise transfer Google user data to third parties, including advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.
  • We do not use Google user data to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes.
  • We do not use Google user data to create databases or datasets unrelated to providing the Service.
  • We do not use Google user data for training AI models or machine learning systems outside of providing the Service to you.
  • We do not allow humans to read your Google user data unless (a) you have given us affirmative consent to view specific data for support purposes, (b) it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating a bug or abuse, (c) it is necessary to comply with applicable law, or (d) the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Transfers of Google User Data

We do not transfer Google user data to any third party except in the following limited circumstances:

  • To service providers who assist in operating the Service, solely to provide or improve user-facing features, and only with appropriate data protection agreements in place
  • For security purposes, such as investigating abuse or unauthorized access
  • To comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes
  • As part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, but only after obtaining explicit prior consent from the user

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With service providers who assist us in operating our Service, such as our payment processor (Stripe), email service provider, hosting infrastructure, and error monitoring services, each of which is bound by contractual obligations to protect your data and use it only for the purposes of providing services to us
  • To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements
  • To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and that of our users or the public, as required or permitted by law
  • In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case you will be notified before your personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information and any data obtained from Google APIs. These measures include:

  • Encryption in transit using TLS/SSL for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers
  • Encryption at rest for sensitive credentials and integration tokens using AES-256-GCM encryption
  • Access controls that restrict access to personal data and Google user data to authorized personnel who need it to operate and maintain the Service
  • Secure infrastructure hosted on industry-standard cloud platforms with regular security monitoring

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to maintaining industry-standard protections.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information and account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. Google user data accessed through Google Search Console and Google Analytics is used to display current and historical performance metrics in your dashboard and is retained only as long as necessary to provide these analytics features.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at dev@seorocket.app. Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

You may also revoke SEO Rocket's access to your Google account data at any time through your Google Account permissions settings. Upon revocation, we will cease accessing new data from your Google account, and previously accessed Google user data will be removed from your dashboard.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion of your personal information
  • Objection to or restriction of certain processing of your information
  • Data portability, allowing you to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time where processing is based on your consent

Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and improve the Service. We do not use cookies to track you across third-party websites or to serve targeted advertising.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
